I'd like to thank you for visting my page and having an interest in training with Dallas Captioning, LLC.

Our first Boot Camp was in September of 2010 held in Irving, Texas. The success of that training has expanded to our sixth year with plenty of people trained and working, and of course, great friendships along the way.

I've had the opportunity to caption all types of programs from home and on-site during the life of my career.

My writing began with everything from local news, to national news, international news, shopping channels, British programming, Canadian programming, sports and more.

On-site CART jobs started with colleges and universities. Later, I moved on to working Miss Texas Pageants to captionig on cruise ships in the warm Caribbean waters.

I know our career is growing because I work in. I also take time to visit international shows held in Las Vegas. These world shows have exibitors that work in our industry. They show closed captioning in 3-D, equipment used for sporting events, new software used to make our job easier and much more.

I share this information in my boot camps. It's important to know where our career is now and where it will be tomorrow.
